materials, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics. You'll
ensure we have what we need to service our customers. As a Material
Controller (Logistics) you will receive and visually inspect
incoming products for distribution throughout the business unit.
Maintain records and prepare documentation for all products shipped
and received. Ensures all items are received, recorded/accounted
for, stored and issued in a safe, accurate and timely manner. What
you'll do: - Facilitate products coming in from freight companies.
- Unpack the product. - Log received items into production
management system to maintain lot control registry. - Prepare and
completes a variety of required documentation. - Visually inspects
incoming products for any obvious damage. - Validate received
products, verifying the documentation received with the item. -
Provide materials, components and engines to appropriate areas. -
Stock consumables and parts. - Prepare products for shipment. -
Packing/canning parts or major modules following specific industry
requirements. - Log shipped items into production management system
to maintain lot control registry. - Prepare and complete a variety
of required documentation required. - Load products to be shipped
out. - Schedule shipping with freight companies. Position
Requirements: - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook,
Word, and Excel). - Ability to type a minimum of 20-30 words per
minute. - Knowledge of Forklift Operations (preferred). - Ability
to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the
average workday. - Must be authorized to work in the US. Preferred
Characteristics: - Demonstrate knowledge of the proper handling of
material. - Familiar with industry and commercial packaging and
shipping instructions. - Good planning, organizational,
interpersonal, and decision-making skills to ensure compliance to
customer, regulatory and company requirements. - Working knowledge
of related company instructions and company processes. Raising the
