In providing reliable, superior, and honest investigations, VRC has taken the lead in the industry by exceeding the expectations of our customers and investigative partners.VRC is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist that is a highly organized, self-motivated individual who has the ability to handle billing / AR for a large company. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting needs, with responsibilities in activities such as all aspects of accounts receivable, invoices, billing structures, and other accounting functions. As a key member of the VRC Accounting staff, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will assist in all facets of the company pertaining to accounting such as completing tasks alone as well as with other team members under management supervision. All team members must have excellent computer skills, be able to multi-task, and problem solve. This position is a full-time position located in our corporate office in Denton, TX and will report to the VP of Finance.The successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the follow areas:3-4 years' billing/AR experiencePrevious accounting experienceMeeting deadlines/multitaskingCore Duties & Responsibilities:Reviews aging reports and proactively contact customers to request paymentsTrack and evaluate past due A/R accounts to reduce risk of credit exposuresWorks with customers and Sales & Operations to resolve issues related to customer paymentsContinuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvementsAnalysis of accounts receivable to identify issues and opportunitiesPrepare invoices dailyAdhere and drive deadlines for A/R agreementsUnderstand and interpret various billing structuresReview data and audit for accurate informationEnsure timely collections of A/RExpert in cash applicationAnalysis of accounts receivable to proactively identify issues and opportunitiesAssist other team members in daily functionsAssst with month-end close, including preparing reports and reconciling accountsAd hoc projectsApplicants must meet the following requirements:Be highly motivated and possess the ability to work under little supervisionProven ability to perform collections activities, including prioritizing follow-up actionsDemonstrate ability to effectively manage time, organize multiple projects, and understand directivesStrong Data Entry SkillsStrong attention to detailExperience with Intacct is a plus.Previous experience in insurance claims handling or fraud investigations is a plusAbility to read, decipher and summarize information quicklyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, WordMust pass a drug test and pre-employment testingUpon hiring you must proficiently learn and utilize all electronic tools as required within the scope of this position to include the company's IMS case tracking systemBenefits:VRC offers medical, dental, vison, disability benefits, as well as paid vacation, and a 401K/Profit Sharing retirement plan.Compensation:VRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis at an hourly wage ($25.00 - $28.00/hr) to commensurate with experience.For more information and to apply, please visit our web site located at .
