Job Summary Join our Agent Commission Financial Controls team at
Integrity as the Manager of Commission Financial Controls. In this
role, you will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring
of financial control frameworks, focusing on SOX compliance for
agent and agency commission payments. This position is crucial to
ensuring compliance, risk management, and financial integrity
across our 114 Business Units. Let’s talk job responsibilities: SOX
Compliance Leadership: Design, implement, and maintain SOX controls
specifically for third-party agent/agency commission payments,
ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and leading ongoing
monitoring. Process Optimization: Collaborate with third-party
consultants to assess and enhance control implementations,
leveraging the Workiva SOX control mapping tool for consistent
management across in-scope businesses. Training and Education:
Develop, deliver, and maintain training on control topics,
providing clear guidance to team members and stakeholders to ensure
best practices and compliance. Performance Monitoring: Regularly
evaluate control effectiveness, identify deficiencies, and partner
with business units to implement corrective actions, ensuring
continuous improvement. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage
a high-performing Commission Financial Controls team, including
setting team structure, hiring, performance management, and
professional development. Collaboration and Communication: Serve as
the primary point of contact for external auditors and maintain
open, transparent communication with internal business teams and
leadership regarding control processes. Project Management: Lead
multiple concurrent projects related to financial controls,
ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality
standards. Risk Management: Develop and maintain a risk management
framework for commission payments, proactively identifying and
mitigating control risks. Your experience and skills: Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
SOX implementation and testing. Experience in public company
financial close processes, reporting, and compliance. Experience
working with external auditors and internal business teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of financial
professionals. Experience reviewing and directing the work of an
accounting team. Proficiency with financial control tools,
including Workiva (preferred), and experience with external audits.
