Job Description:
Commercial Roofing Estimator Location: Saginaw, Texas The Staff
Pad has partnered with a commercial roofing contractor in Saginaw,
Texas to hire a Commercial Roofing Estimator responsible for
preparing accurate, competitive bids for commercial roofing
projects. This role involves reviewing blueprints, conducting site
assessments, estimating labor and material costs, and working
closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure
bid accuracy and project profitability. $90-120k Base Depending on
Experience Key Responsibilities: Review plans/specs and conduct
on-site inspections to determine scope and needs Estimate material,
labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs Develop and submit
detailed project bids and proposals Collaborate with project
managers and sales teams to align estimates with schedules and
client expectations Source and coordinate with vendors and
subcontractors for pricing Identify potential risks and offer
cost-effective solutions through value engineering Maintain
accurate records of estimates, bid documents, and revisions
Requirements: 2–5 years of experience in commercial roofing or
construction estimating Strong knowledge of roofing systems (TPO,
EPDM, PVC, metal, etc.) Ability to read blueprints and use
estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, RoofLogic) Strong
communication, organizational, and negotiation skills Ability to
manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Preferred: Bachelor’s
degree in Construction Management or related field Industry
certifications (OSHA, estimating, or roofing-related) This role
offers a mix of office and field work, with occasional local
