We are inviting applications for our Director Finance, Marketing/ Ecommerce. Our Director Finance, Marketing / Ecommerce will be a key business partner supporting the Marketing and Ecommerce teams by developing and nurturing strong cross functional partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration and accountability. Responsibilities include leading the financial planning and forecasting processes, managing related accounting close activities, providing financial rigor around operating decisions and strategic initiatives and team development.Responsibilities (Text Only)- Lead the marketing and ecommerce teams in the development of financial plans and forecasts aligning project costs with expense recognition, liaising with business unit finance teams on advertising and ecommerce related expenses. - Support the accounting close process for the Marketing and Ecommerce functions including providing support for monthly accruals, actual vs. forecast variance analysis and allocation of shared P&L items across business units - Prepare and present regular P&L and Operating metrics including KPI analysis to department and business unit leadership to guide decision making. - Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and capital projects.Qualifications (Text Only)--- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics --- 8-10 years Finance experience with retail/consumer driven business and five years in a leadership role --- Strong understanding of GAAP and experience supporting a financial close process --- Advanced modeling skills leveraging Excel/Microsoft Office, Hyperion and data warehouses --- Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills Competencies / Attributes Indicate relative "qualitative" or other important aspects that would enhance the ability to perform the job. i.e. detail oriented, customer focused, team player, etc. --- Collaborative business partner with the ability to prioritize workloads and deadlines --- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross functionally --- Accuracy and attention to detail while also being able to pivot to a tops/down perspective --- Self-starter who is able to perform in fast paced, matrixed environment --- Proficiency in preparation and presentation of analytical reports and documents regarding operational status, achievement, and performance --- Leadership capabilities including coaching and development We offer a competitive salary and outstanding benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life Insurance, paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and 401(k) with company match.
