Baylor Surgicare at Denton, -is seeking a motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. -Baylor Surgicare at Denton -is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for -patients and their families. -Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. -We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure.Accreditation & Physician Ownership Information: -Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission. - Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Denton is -a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. The list of physician owners or investors is available to you upon request.Number of ORs and Treatment Rooms:4 -ORs1 Treatment RoomsSpecialties: -Our state-of the art equipment allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of:

  • ENT, General, Hand, MOHS Reconstruction, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, Urology - -
    Required Skills:
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
      • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
        • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
        • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
        • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
        • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
