Overview: -The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician -performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens -using -complex laboratory techniques. -The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician -Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. - -
Qualifications: - -Medical Laboratory Technician -

• Education: -Associate -degree in a major acceptable to a certification agency for MLT -
• Certification/Registration: MLT ASCP or equivalent -OR - -Medical Technologist I -
  • Associate degree with MLT -ASCP -certification -& 3 years clinical experience -
  • Approved Military Training (if applicable)--- - -OR ---- -Medical Technologist II -
    • Education: -Bachelor's -degree -
