Department: Med Surg Telemetry
Shift/Schedule - Full Time Days 6:45 - 7:15 PM. 3/12 hour shifts
per week and 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
Our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit is a fast-paced environment

Medical Surgical/Telemetry
Patient Population:Surgical (Ortho, Neuro, Colorectal, Urology,
GI), Med/Surg (Urology, GI, Nephrology, Cardiac/Tele, Pulmonary,
Geriatrics)
Patient Ratios: 1:5
Number of Beds: 40
Department Specifics: Pathway designated, Level III Trauma Center,
Primary heart attack center, High performing in quality indicators,
Favorable RN and PCT ratios, Charge RN free of patient assignment,
Strong employee and physician relationships, 24/7 hospitalist
services for patient care needs, Employee self-scheduling,
Supportive and collaborative work environment through unit-based
council and shared governance, Competitive pay rates with tuition

Thye facility is a 118 bed hospital serving Frisco and the
surrounding communities.? With more than 600 specialists on our
medical staff, our services include digestive care, labor and
delivery, heart health, emergency and trauma care, surgical
services, orthopedics, intensive care, internal medicine, and more.
Trauma Center (Level III) facility in Frisco and are certified as a
Primary Stroke and Primary Heart Attack Center by the Texas
Department of State Health Services and by The Joint
Commission.
The first Level III Maternal facility in Frisco. In addition, a
NICU Level II designation These prestigious designations illustrate
unwavering dedication to quality perinatal care and proving safe
care to all mothers and babies from low risk to highly complex
care.
In 2022, the facility achieved its Pathway to Excellence
accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
(ANCC).

EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
MAJOR - Nursing
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or
transfer.
