Ideal for a resilient, independent nurse committed to youth offender care. /n /nResponsibilities: /n /n• Administer medications and deliver nursing care. /n• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. /n• Ensure compliance with regulations. /n• Complete required training and certifications. /n /nQualifications: /n /n• Active RN license in Texas or compact state. /n• 2 years RN experience; 1 year in acute care or med•surg. /n• BLS certification. /n• Experience with juveniles preferred. /n• Ability to manage a heavy medication pass. /n /nSchedule: /n /n• Day shifts: 0630 to 1900. /n• 36/48•hour weekly rotation; potential overtime. /n• Weekend and holiday shifts may be required. /n /nRequirements: /n /n• COVID•19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted. /n• Drug screen and fingerprinting prior to start. /n /nThis is a 13•week assignment with potential extension.
