This is a Full Time Day shift position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am -
5:00pm * The Sepsis Coordinator is responsible for providing
performance improvement (PI) support and leadership to various
clinical and non-clinical service lines, participating in
concurrent and retrospective review, facilitating PI teams, and
coordinating all aspects of the medical staff peer review process
What You Will Do In This Role: - Identifying and coordinating
activities geared toward improved patient care processes and
outcomes for the septic patient population - Collaborating across
the organization with appropriate leaders to develop metrics, data
collection methodologies - Provide analysis to achieve department
and organizational performance improvement goals - Develop reports
that support PI activities - The Sepsis Coordinator maintains
communication with administration, medical staff and departmental
leaders regarding PI activities What qualifications you will need:
- Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license -
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required, Masters degree preferred -
Minimum of 3 years experience in critical care or emergency
