ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg for a travel nursing job in Denton, Texas. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours,
nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or
Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years
of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must
be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon
successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral
bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on
43-bed Medical Unit 610 located on 5th floor • Day shift patient
ratio: 1:5-6 patients • Night shift patient ratio: 1:6 patients •
Self-scheduling allowed within reason for balanced schedule •
Rotating weekends required • Float to medical unit and ER to
provide med/surg hold nurse capabilities • Work with EMR system
Meditech • Dress code requires royal blue scrubs • Care for
patients undergoing any type of surgery excluding cardiac and open
neuro surgery • Previous med/surg nursing experience in acute care
setting required • Meditech experience preferred • Must be willing
to jump in as team player and ask questions when unsure of
processes • Work alongside charge nurse, unit secretary, 9-10 RNs,
and 4 CNAs per shift Facility: This acute care hospital provides
comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community. The
facility features a 43-bed medical unit that cares for patients
undergoing various surgical procedures and medical treatments. The
hospital utilizes modern electronic medical record systems and
maintains high standards of patient care with appropriate staffing
