Job Description:
We are seeking a Permanent Physician - OB Hospitalist in Texas.
Permanent Physician - OB Hospitalist Position Type: Specialty:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB Location: Texas. Rate: Open &
Negotiable Shift: 24-hour shifts (Full-time: 7.5 shifts/month;
Part-time: 5.5 shifts/month, benefits eligible) Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Permanent Position Details: Patient Population: OB/GYN
Setting: Hospital - OB Floor Responsibilities: OB triage,
admissions, deliveries, inpatient care, ER consults for GYN
emergencies, assisting in surgical procedures (C-sections),
responding to labor & delivery emergencies, managing high-risk
pregnancies, providing care for unassigned patients, assisting with
private call coverage. Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries,
C-sections, surgical assistance, OBED consults. EMR System: Not
specified Support Staff: In-house neonatologists, neonatal nurse
practitioners, maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Days Per Month:
5.5 7.5 24-hour shifts/month (based on part-time or full-time
status) On-Call/Weekends: None (coverage handled during 24-hour
shifts) Submission Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible
(within 5 years of residency) in OB/GYN Required Active TX license
(or in process) Required Clean malpractice and license history
Highly Preferred Indicate interest in full-time or part-time
employment Required Indicate if visa support is required (J1 or H1B
not accepted) Required DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
