In your role, you will be an integral part of the perioperative team, providing technical support to anesthesiologists, nurses, and patients during surgical procedures. Your tasks will include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and medications, ensuring the safe and effective administration of anesthesia. Preparation, testing, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and instruments before surgery. Assisting anesthesiologists and nurses in setting up and using equipment during procedures. Monitoring, cataloging, and stocking anesthesia supplies. Ensuring all anesthesia equipment functions properly during operations. Adhering to safety standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate effective patient care throughout surgical procedures. Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and equipment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness and organization. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Certification as an Anesthesia Technician by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) is highly preferred.
