Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Denton, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM /n• Travel assignment for Medical/Surgical unit (2NE Med/Surg) /n• Weekend shifts required /n• Patient ratios of 1:6 /n• Must have Meditech experience /n• Must have telemetry unit experience /n• Required certifications: BLS/ACLS /n• CPI certification preferred /n• NIHSS assessment experience preferred /n• Ultrasound IV placement skills preferred /n• Work with equipment including Hoyer lifts, BSC, SarahSteady, walkers, wheelchairs, WOW/COW /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed /n• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs /n• Must be collaborative, team player, self-motivated, and respectful /n• Work on 18-bed unit with 25 staff members including charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services to the North Texas region.
