Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home-based care services, is
seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide low-acuity
nursing care to patients in their homes during overnight shifts.
This role is critical in enabling patients from pediatric to
geriatric to achieve their highest levels of health and
independence in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Our
ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and proficient
in delivering skilled nursing services. Emphasizing our commitment
to excellence in patient care, our RNs also focus on educating
patients and their families on treatment regimens and home health
protocols to foster a supportive environment that encourages their
healing and growth. Provide overnight health monitoring, ensuring
patient comfort and safety. Administer medications, IVs, and other
prescribed treatments accurately. Communicate effectively with
patients, families, and the healthcare team. Assess patients'
conditions and adjust care plans as necessary. Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients and families on proper home health care strategies
and procedures. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in administering medications and operating medical
equipment. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Ability
to perform under stress and in emergency situations.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse
(RN) licensed to practice in the state of employment. CPR/BLS
certification. Valid driver’s license and reliable
transportation.
