Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician (OBED Call) Arlington, TX
Consider joining a Level III maternity program where you ll cover
obstetrical emergencies in a focused OBED setting with
24-hour in-house call and no office call
responsibilities. This role offers a competitive
pay package with weekly pay via direct

What You ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency
Department (OBED)
- Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients and
provide clinical oversight as needed
- Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart
tracings
- Perform vaginal deliveries and
cesarean sections
- Serve as a primary safety net for the labor and
delivery unit, responding to obstetrical emergencies and
evolving complications
- Provide consults to the Emergency Department
and medical floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic
concerns
- Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to
discharge and support quality/safety initiatives
What You Need
Required
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Obstetrics &
Gynecology
- Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN
residency program (robotics training required per role
requirements)
- Current Texas Medical License or willingness
to obtain IMLC (LOQ submission with presentation
required for IMLC candidates)
- Recent delivery and surgical experience,
including:
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Emergency obstetrical procedures
Preferred
- Experience working alongside multidisciplinary obstetrics teams
(e.g., neonatology, anesthesia, CNMs, hospitalists)
About the Assignment
You ll practice at Texas Health Arlington Memorial
Hospital, a 369-bed acute care and surgical
facility serving Arlington for more than 60 years,
including approximately 1,300 1,500 births
annually, a 20-bed Level III NICU, and
private maternity suites. Providers work with a multidisciplinary
team including in-house neonatology, 24/7 anesthesia coverage,
OB/GYN hospitalists, Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and family
medicine physicians, supporting maternal and neonatal outcomes.
