ELMUtility Services, with over 1000 employees nationwide, has an outstandingopportunity as a Utility Locate Technician, working in the Dripping Springs, Texas area. With starting payfrom $24-$30 per hour DOQ, you will be provided paid training by ELM using ELMequipment, including company provided vehicle to work independently as yourmobile office. ELM utilizes our Launch point software system withstate-of-the-art technology to ensure the job is as simple and efficient aspossible for our technicians. ELM Technicians provide a service to theircommunity ensuring the gas, electric, communications systems, etc. aremaintained and dependable by performing excellent quality marking of utilitiesto prevent excavation damage to these critical facilities. Utility facilitiesthat provide heat, light, and necessary communications critical to our modernlife serves the communities in which we live.

Yourspecific duties in this role will include, but not limited to:
--- Workingindependently outdoors utilizing your company-provided vehicle as your mobileoffice, you will work a route of locate requests to be completed each day.
--- Ourmission is to correctly, safely, and efficiently locate and mark undergroundutilities including, electric and gas lines primarily, marking their properlocation using marking paint, flags, and whiskers in some cases. In some areasELM does also locate communications or other facilities as well. Localmanagement can provide specifically what utilities we service in your area.
--- Completeall necessary digital documentation and paperwork
--- Receivedaily route and locate requests by logging in each morning from your vehicle/mobileoffice handheld smartphone. No need to come to an office every day. The daynormally will start at your residence and ends on the last locate job completed.
--- Respondto emergency calls in a timely manner as directed
--- Workperiodic overtime and weekend on-call rotation may be requested

Specificqualifications for the position include:
--- Abilityto pass a pre-employment drug screen.
--- HighSchool Diploma or GED
--- Validdriver's license in good standing
