Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Pay Range: $30/hr.

Location: 100%ONSITE in Plano, TX

Schedule: Flexible start time! Get to work between 7:30am to 8:30am. Work an 8-hour shift. Ex: 7:30am to 4:30pm, 8:00am to 5:00pm, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Duration: Contract [11 Months - Potential to go permanent depending on business needs]

Responsibilities:

Process and manage payroll for employees at high volume [1000+]
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
Collaboration with an international office from Plano, TX
Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
Stay updated on payroll regulations and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance

Requirements:

2+ years of high-volume payroll experience
In-depth knowledge of payroll management processes, including debits/credits, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation
Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to analyze financial data and perform general ledger reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll information
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and resolve payroll-related inquiries
Additional duties as required
