Job Description:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will make an impact by
designing, executing, and leading automated and integration testing
strategies for complex, multi?vendor applications. You will be a
valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work
collaboratively with business stakeholders, architects, developers,
and cross?functional vendors to ensure high?quality, scalable
solutions. In this role, you will: Design, build, and maintain
automation frameworks using Selenium and Python across enterprise
applications Drive integration testing efforts across multiple
vendors and integrated systems Develop and execute test strategies
and test plans aligned with program phases Lead and coordinate
testing activities with onsite and offshore QA teams Perform
JSON?based testing, service validation, and data integrity checks
Execute SQL queries for backend and data?driven testing Manage
defects, triage, test data, and execution tracking using Jira
Demonstrate application functionality and testing outcomes to
business stakeholders and architects Work model At Cognizant, we

onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant
office in Richardson, Texas. The working arrangements for this role

expectations. What you need to have to be considered Strong
hands?on experience in QA automation using Selenium and Python
Experience with Java?based automation testing Hands?on experience
writing and executing SQL queries Proven experience leading
integration testing across systems and vendors Strong knowledge of
JSON?based testing and service validation Solid understanding of QA
processes, defect management, triage, and test data management
Hands?on experience using Git/GitHub for version control Excellent
written and verbal communication skills These will help you stand
out Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs Exposure to AWS and
cloud?based testing environments Experience with CI/CD pipelines,
including Jenkins and Kubernetes Familiarity with UI testing
frameworks such as Jest, Protractor, Mocha, or similar tools
Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Exposure to C# or
DevOps tools Ability to perform effectively in fast?paced
environments with high availability and frequent change We’re
