opportunity available to join our team in support of the Department
of Justice’s (DoJ) groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening
the infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user
experience across US Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT
modernization initiative is a critical component of ensuring the
effectiveness and security of our nation’s law enforcement
operations. We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity
Specialist to join our team on this new contract. We invite skilled

response capabilities. Responsibilities: Manage patch management
systems to ensure all software and systems are up-to-date with the
latest security patches. Set up and configure Zero Trust
Architecture to enhance network security and protect sensitive
data. Implement and maintain data backup solutions to ensure data
integrity and availability in the event of a disaster. Utilize
forensic analysis tools to investigate security incidents, identify
root causes, and gather evidence for further action. Conduct
regulatory compliance checks (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA) to ensure the
organization meets all relevant security standards and regulations.
Plan and execute disaster recovery testing to validate the
effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and ensure business
continuity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align
cybersecurity strategies with business objectives and IT
strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for
cybersecurity processes, configurations, and procedures. Stay
current with emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends, and best
practices. Participate in the procurement and evaluation of
cybersecurity tools and software. Ensure compliance with industry
regulations and internal policies in all cybersecurity efforts.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of cybersecurity processes to
identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the continuous
improvement of cybersecurity strategies and methodologies. Engage
in knowledge-sharing activities and training sessions to enhance
team skills and capabilities. Qualifications: Required: Active DoD
Public Trust clearance or US citizen with ability to obtain Public
Trust upon hire Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (additional years of
experience may be considered in lieu of degree) 4 years of
experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist Proficiency in managing
patch management systems Experience in setting up and configuring
Zero Trust Architecture Strong skills in implementing and
maintaining data backup solutions Expertise in using forensic
analysis tools for incident investigation Knowledge of regulatory
compliance checks (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA) Experience in planning and
executing disaster recovery testing Excellent problem-solving and
analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired: Certifications such as Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or
equivalent Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR)
solutions Knowledge of cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS Security
Hub, Azure Security Center) Familiarity with security
orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools Experience
with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions -

host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not
limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

one location, the range shown is the national average for the
position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
