our team in support of the Department of Justice’s (DoJ)
groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening the infrastructure,
enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user experience across US
Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT modernization initiative
is a critical component of ensuring the effectiveness and security
of our nation’s law enforcement operations. We are looking for an
experienced Network Administrator to join our team on this new

user experience. Responsibilities: Process MACD (Move, Add, Change,
Delete) requests to ensure accurate and timely updates to network
configurations. Perform general troubleshooting to identify and
resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor network
performance using various tools and techniques to detect and
address anomalies. Implement strategies to minimize network
latency, ensuring optimal data transmission speeds. Configure and
maintain network infrastructure components, including routers,
switches, and firewalls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
align network solutions with business objectives. Develop and
maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations,
and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
and other IT staff. Stay current with emerging network
technologies, trends, and best practices. Participate in the
procurement and evaluation of network hardware and software. Ensure
compliance with network security policies, standards, and
regulations. Conduct regular network audits and assessments to
identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the continuous
improvement of network operations and processes. Perform routine
maintenance and updates to network equipment and software. Assist
in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and
business continuity plans. Qualifications: Required: Active DoD
Public Trust clearance or US citizen with ability to obtain Public
Trust upon hire Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field of study
(additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of
degree) 4 years of experience as a Network Administrator or a
similar network role Experience with MACD request processing and
network configuration management Strong general troubleshooting
skills for network issues Proficiency in network monitoring tools
and techniques Knowledge of strategies for minimizing network
latency In-depth understanding of networking protocols (e.g.,
TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS) Familiarity with network security
principles and practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical
skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desired:
Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) Experience
with network automation tools and scripts (e.g., Ansible, Python)
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network function
virtualization (NFV) Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS,
Azure, Google Cloud) Experience with network performance management
tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) - What You Can Expect: A culture

influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic
location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract
wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and

The proposed salary range for this position is: $63,300-$129,700
