Job Requirements Recycling SortersShift: FIRST (4am to 12:30pm)Pay Rate: $12.00/hrOur Opportunity: Our client is the 5th largest corrugated packaging company and the world's largest, privately-held producer of 100% recycled containerboard, with more than 9000 highly-skilled, green-collar employees dedicated to the environment and sustainability. What you'll do as a Recycling Sorter:As a Recycling Sorter,--you will--sort and separate various types of materials for recycling. Essential function / position responsibilities include:---Responsible for the separation of various types of commingle or fiber recyclables.---Responsible for ensuring the quality and purity of the material.---Operate equipment in accordance with O&M manual---Check material for quality and conformity---Separate out the non-recyclable material and trash from the line and place in proper containers---Must keep up with general housekeeping---Must obey all company safety regulations---Performs other job-related duties as assignedWork Experience Specific qualifications for the role include:* High school education or equivalent, preferred* Must have a demonstrated ability to follow all directions* Recent Warehouse, Manufacturing, Production, or Distribution experience is a plus* Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time* Professional Attitude & conduct* High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline* Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.* Be willing to work--required shifts, overtime,--and weekends when necessary.* Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures * Background friendly*Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and E-Verify*?We don't hire temps, we hire TEAMMATES!If this sounds like the right job for you, please apply online or in-person Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm!--Not for you, but someone you know?
