This is a role for a Nurse leader, who will be responsible for the
provision of high quality, cost effective patient care in all
Nursing areas through the responsible management of human and
fiscal resources. Coordinates the provision of age specific patient
care that is consistent with the policies, procedures and standards
of professional nursing practice and consistent with the policies
and procedures in place at NTMC. Consults with staff, physicians
and the CNO on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital
policies to ensure that patient needs are met. Participates in
performance improvement activities within the
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
BSN preferred or current enrollment in a BSN program.
Current RN license in the State of Texas
Three (3) years or more of previous experience in all aspects of
Womens Services nursing and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP certification
Current Fetal Monitoring certification
Current STABLE certification
Successful completion of arrhythmia course.

Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment and reassessments on
all patients as per policy. This includes, pediatric, geriatric and
the general population.
Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes
appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and
family regarding pain management.
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that
optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of
medical/health care errors. Ensures that staff support a culture of

Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on
