As a Production Supervisor, you will manage the manufacturing of
powder coating products to ensure safe production of material that
meets customer and quality system requirements in the most cost
effective and efficient manner. The role is directly accountable
for personnel safety, quality, scheduling, and customer service
issues related to production. As well as admiration of production
related activities, housekeeping, training, emergency response, and
plant supervision coverage are additional responsibilities.
- Provide guidance and set priorities to achieve the production
- Plans and prioritizes resources with respect to production
schedule and staffing requirements
- Develop people regarding their key abilities and
- Provides timely and meaningful performance feedback to team and
- Follows-up on issues from previous shifts
- Ensures proper shift turnover between shifts with respect to
EHS, Environmental, Reliability issues
- Owns and measures shift team performance with respect to EHS,
Environmental, Quality, Production and Reliability goals
- Address performance issues through coaching, mentoring, or
- Leads root cause investigations as needed using LSS tools
- Ensures work instructions are accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinates team member participation in continuous improvement
activities related to EHS, productivity, quality, reliability,
- Ensures team members are trained; Tracks and manages team
member training and development
- Two year degree or willingness to pursue a two year degree -
must begin approved/recognized program within 180 days of accepting
- 5 years previous experience
- Must be able to work 1st shift, 6:00am- 6:30pm
