ExcellenceThe Role:We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Systems
Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining the function and
administrating the changes to the operations and quality camLine
systems. You will also be responsible for implementing and
administering manufacturing applications such as SPC, MES and
OEE.
The scope of the program is to use these applications to monitor
and control our process, product and equipment. An example is the
application of the SPC software from Incoming materials through all
steps in production to final product and includes all measurements
and Certificates of Analysis. The individual will have a good
understanding of the Entegris processes and available tools to
optimize administration and productivity.In this role you will:
- Work closely with process, quality and control engineers, IT,
camLine vendor and /or outside resources to determine technical
solutions and/or applications to meet the identified
requirements.
- Support users to solve software issues such as missing data or
incorrect data in system database, Suppliers COA upload failures,
Supplier and Customer CofA generation failures, CofA template
changes, etc.
- Ensure instruments and machines are communicating with software
and data is available in the system database.
- Work closely with users on the appropriateness of the process
control charts and evaluate the maturity of the charts and drive
towards higher maturity level on a periodical basis. Example:
assist/advise in setting up charts, make changes or update charts
properties.
- Support software and hardware new installation or upgrades.
Example: rolling out new camLine versions or replacing camLine
servers.
- Perform integration and testing for equipment or process
interfaces, CofA from suppliers and CofA to Customers.
- Maintain and update documents related to manufacturing systems
software.
- Educate users of the software tools and conduct training for
SPC, SQM, CQM, Pulse, MES, eCAP, Stargate and other related
modulesTraits we believe make a strong candidate:
- 2+ uears experience as an engineer or software administrator,
preferably in the semiconductor industry;
- Bachelors Degree required;
- Knowledge of camLine software, SPC (Statistical Process
Control), SQL and familiar with OPC servers is preferred;
- Flexibility, ability to handle pressure, and has a creative
approach to solving problems;
- Strong communication skills.Your success will be measured by:
- Achieving annual goals;
- Feedback from users on the support to camLine systems;
- Implementation of the camLine features and how efficient the
system is used;
- SPC Chart maturity level;
