Lead Estheticians (aestheticians) specialize in the beautification and health of the skin. These beauty professionals are responsible for performing a variety of facial and body techniques and practices to increase, improve, or maintain the healthy appearance of the skin. Estheticians do not diagnose or treat medical conditions or diseases of the skin; instead, their work is focused solely on skincare as it relates to general health and beauty.
--- Receive practical services and provide feedback on applicant's skills.
--- Train new hires on the company's services and products to ensure every employee upholds the quality levels expected.
--- Create new and update service protocol SOPs as needed.
--- Attend continuing education programs and regular staff meetings to keep skills updated with the newest methods and technologies, training on treatment room standards.
--- Professional product inventory for products required to operate services and report to managers for ordering.
--- Holding a leadership role and leading by example to fellow co-workers.
--- Greeting guests and suggesting the appropriate therapies and treatments
--- Perform a wide range of facial and waxing services following protocols
--- Obtain client health history using client intake forms, assessing problems and conditions and consulting with clients about recommended treatments
--- Record detailed SOAP notes for all clients including contraindications, allergies, medications, formulations, and treatment preferences
--- Educating clients on spa/salon therapies and services
--- Actively pursuing daily sales goals, including retails sales to achieve and maintaining a retail to service sale ratio
--- Complete side work, open and closing duties as directed by the supervisor
--- Provide high-quality facial treatments that address skincare concerns
--- Advise clients and suggest treatments related to their individual needs
--- Perform facials, full body waxing, peels, microdermabrasion, exfoliation, wraps, masks, makeup, and lash application.
--- Dedication to staying up to date on current licensing changes and abide by all rules and regulations associated with licensure for the state of Oklahoma.
--- Ensures complete guest satisfaction.
--- Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and guest experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction.
--- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
--- Always maintain a clean work area.
--- Interact with guests and giving them a positive impression of the spa.
--- Contribute to the security of the spa facility by monitoring the access of guests and escorting them to treatment areas.
--- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all spa areas.
--- Dispose of trash; bring dirty linens to the proper area for laundering; and stock towels, linens, supplies and amenities in area as needed.
--- Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and presentation of all spa areas.
--- Attend all meetings and training required of your department or the company in general.
--- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and managers.
--- Ensure compliance of daily opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring assigned areas are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
--- Practices the WinStar World Casino and Resort and Winston Hospitality culture.
--- Conduct self in a professional manner always and work the hours required.
--- Following all spa standard operating procedures (SOP).
--- Other duties as assigned. This position may perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs that may be outside the scope of these normal duties.
