A role in a Distribution Center means being on the very front lines
of getting product to the guests safely, accurately, and as quickly
as possible-a critical differentiator and one of the most essential
Logistics functions. You'll reach beyond the bounds of your team to
partner across the enterprise and find solutions to support the
business. Whether it's through focusing on our regional or upstream
distribution centers, import warehouses, or fulfillment and flow
centers, you'll have a chance to positively impact thousands of
fellow team members and Target guests worldwide, further

to be done, from Distribution Center Operations, where process and
problem-solving drive our results; Quality Management, which
influences and maintains our good name in the retail marketplace,
or overall Distribution Center Productivity, where we're always
analyzing and recalibrating how to best support our people, process
and technology investments to support an ever evolving
Inventory Control Component: Assists in inventory reporting and
cycle counts to achieve desired results
in the areas of inventory and dating accuracy/integrity. Conducts
routine and scheduled auditing
activities/cycle counting to assess location accuracy. Corrects any
inventory record inaccuracies and
conducts follow-up audits. Supports and executes the quarterly FDC
inventory process. Damage processing
will also be a centralized function handled by this team.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
--- Manage a safe workplace by advocating safety training and

inventory issues in real-time.
--- Able to operate power equipment (like forklifts) for movement
and stacking of pallets.
--- Learn Target's Warehouse Management System (WMS) to understand
daily operations and
support system troubleshooting.
--- Utilize WMS tools to facilitate inventory movement as directed
by management or according to
--- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with
cross-departmental Team Members.
--- Systematically and physically monitor conveyor movement and
freight flow, address errors or
obstacles as they arise.
--- Utilize reports on error rates, capacity utilization, or other
metrics to identify trends and make
recommendations on improvements.
--- Maintaining product inventory and dating standards in reserve
and pick slot locations by working aging
and location reports on a daily/weekly basis, which could be
o Physical Quantity
o Location Integrity
o Expiration Date
--- Maintaining accurate inventory counts in both reserve and pick
--- Performing inventory adjustments based on damages and quality
--- Perform cycle count verifications
--- Research and process problem area or damaged freight.
--- Execute return to stock (RTS) process.
--- Embrace and practice lean approaches, six sigma tools, and 5S
techniques within workplace to drive
cleanliness and document defects for root cause analysis.
--- Support projects/initiatives across supply chain to drive new
innovations in process
Reports to the Inventory Management Operations Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: --- Work independently and in a team
environment. --- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-45
lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. occasionally.
--- Able to use powered equipment. --- Ability to read, utilize
matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation.
--- Good oral and written communication skills. --- Able to operate
computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training.
--- Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers
of those defects. --- Ability to perform basic data analysis in
Microsoft Excel. --- Ability to work until "the work is done,"
which may consist of daily shifts of more than eight hours

Open Shift is Saturday, Sunday & Monday 4:30am-4:30pm.
