Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:The position will work closely with
measurement, field OPS/Plant OPS and IT groups to ensure reliable
data collection/support field and office communication system and
field PLC maintenance. The focus of the position will be on support
of Targa's Delaware and Midland Basin systems. The position will
support other Permian systems as needed.JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:* Manage various SCADA related field projects.*
Install, troubleshoot and maintain the SCADA/EFM communications
systems that supports real time and EFM data collection.* Working
knowledge CygNet 8.5 -> above and GMR/FMS.* Create new and
modify Cygnet SCADA system graphics for TPL users.* Work with field
OPS to troubleshoot compressor panel communications and PLC
issues.* Work with measurement to troubleshoot measurement issues
for data retrieval and installation support as needed.* Install,
maintain and troubleshooting for DCS/PLC, SCADA including HMI, RTUs
- TotalFlow, Emerson Roc, Bristol ControlWave and associated
protocols. PLCs - Allen Bradley all models, General Electric all
models and associated protocols (SLC, CIP, SRTP, Modbus, etc.).*
Install, maintain and troubleshooting Licensed and Unlicensed radio
frequency 900MHz to 11GHz radio systems. Including antenna
structures and associated supporting equipment.* Working knowledge
of Licensed and Unlicensed radio frequency 900MHz to 11GHz radio
systems. Including antenna structures and associated supporting
equipment.* Working knowledge of TCP/IP and Modbus protocols and
network topologies. Knowledge of IP routing protocols would be a
plus.* Working knowledge of natural gas and liquids measurement.*
Working knowledge of all wireless communications.* Working
knowledge of TCP/IP and Modbus protocols and network topologies.

knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.* Working knowledge of natural gas
and liquids measurement.* Work with vendors/contractors on local
SCADA/EFM expansion/modification projects.* 24x7 on-call rotation
for all SCADA/EFM systems.MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:*
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.* Possess and maintain a
valid driver's license to include a safe driving record
satisfactory to the company.* Ability to work overtime, weekends,
holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to
fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant
or field conditions.* Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a
minimum of 50lbs.* Ability to work in changing climate conditions.*
Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling,
squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.* Follow and adhere to
all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex:
eye protection, footwear, Nomex).* Exhibit good project management
and communications skills.* Regular and reliable
attendance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor of Science in a
technical field or Associates degree with related work experience.*
Knowledge of the natural gas industry standards (NAESB); PHMSA,
FERC regulations.* HAZWHOPPER Certified.* 3 to 5 years field
experience in the natural gas energy industry.* Exhibit good
