In addition to our patient care services, such as wellness exams and preventative care, we also offer ultrasonography, dentistry, and orthopedic surgery. We also partner with Denton Animal Support Foundation to help less fortunate pets and owners. Apply today!*Licensed Veterinary Technician Role Requirements** Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.* Associate degree in Veterinary Technology*Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities** Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms* Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals* Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members* Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring* Competently perform dental prophylaxis*Licensed Veterinary Technician Benefits** Work with Newsweek's #1 Ranked Healthcare Company in 2023* Professional Development Assistance - You have goals.
