Job Description:

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance (specify equipment on your site). Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Dallas, TX site location. This role will be working Monday through Friday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm. Aids and mentors lower-level employees.

        The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $33 to $37.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
        
        Tasks and Qualifications:
        
        What You Will Do in This Role
        
        
        • Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
        • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures flawlessly.
        • Apply electrical test equipment to repair electrical circuitry with precision.
        • Build and close work orders in the asset management system with accurate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
        • Address conveyance problems and determine the resources needed to resolve them successfully.
        • Locate and supervise spare parts inventory strictly.
        • Perform sophisticated maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
        • Aid in training customers to operate equipment effectively.
        • Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults promptly.
        • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
          
          What We Are Looking For
          
          
          • High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Typically, an Associate's degree or vocational technical training is helpful. Niche skill training/certification preferred.
          • Demonstrates a senior-level knowledge with 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
          • Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key tasks as presented above.
          • Ability to be customer-facing while maintaining professional communications through email and in-person conversations with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians.
          • Responsible for leading projects, teams, and advising day-to-day operations and tasks to the onsite maintenance team.
          • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
          • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
          • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
          • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
          • Job environment may have limited space, dust, fumes, varying temperatures, loud noises, vibration, prolonged standing on concrete, and wet surfaces.
          • Strong PLC and electrical background/issue resolution capabilities.
