Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to join our organization. In this position, you will organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity with an eye on all stages of the order cycle. Our overall goal is to find the right person to manage the entire process, enhancing business growth, ensuring sustainability, and increasing customer satisfaction.--Essential Duties:Create logistics plan for individual projects-planned deliveries, routes, utilization of transportation options( Land, Air and Sea)Advise on logistic issues that will impact the overall deliveryEnsuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipmentsMonitoring shipments, cost, timelines, and productivityAddressing and resolving shipment and inventory issuesLiase with production plants (internal & outsourced) in order to honor project deadlinesManage 3PL warehouse space utilizationClose out all shipments process within the IFS system to allow timely invoicing--Work closely with accounting and PM department on any issues related to shipments close out to avoid delays to the invoice processPrepare documentation for domestic and international export shipments to include preparation of customs and shipping with ocean and air freight carriers and consolidatorsCoordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipmentsQuoting/scheduling of third party logistics shipmentsCoordinate information received from freight forwarders and track shipmentsCoordinate import/export logistics to ensure alignment with the overseas logistics solutions ETA for trucks schedulingNegotiate and arrange international shipments with freight brokers, international carriers and/or freight forwardersStreamlining import and export logistics process, insuring compliance to trade regulations for all import and export shipmentsFollow up on all import shipments to ensure timely deliveriesPrepare commercial invoices for all export shipmentsManage inventory of all the products that is kept in the 3PLOther duties as assigned--Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:--Proficiency in MS Office and logistics sofwareAbility to work logically and systematically, with good time managementNegotiation SkillsWillingness to learn ERP system (s) for processing shipments. IFS is a plusExcellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with dispatchers, truck drivers, and co-workers, including clarity of thought and explanation, as some will not use English as their first language.Bilingual English and Spanish preferably.--Strong follow-up skills.Self-motivational personality with exceptional attendance and punctuality.Excellent customer service orientation.Ability to multi-task.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload.Ability to work with detailed information.Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with ongoing interruptions.Ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency.Problem-solving ability, particularly when working under pressure.Education/Experience:5 or more years experience in logistics control / international logistics3 or more years Inventory management--Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferredHigh school diploma/GED required----Job Location:Ennis, TX (Is not a remote role)Compensation details: 26-28 Hourly WagePIe8c51c6c1db9-25660-37692659
