Competitive Compensation Package Bonus Structure Relocation Assistance Will help with licensing in Texas (if needed) Highly collaborative, mission-driven firm Job Details MUST BE LICENSED IN CALIFORNIA Will provide relocation assistance and help you get licensed in Texas if you are not already We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with a valid California license to join our growing firm in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in family law with courtroom confidence and a passion for helping their clients in the most ethical will. Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive legal counsel on a wide array of family law matters such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their rights and best interests. Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses. Conducting legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in family law. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to strategize and develop effective case strategies. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Providing guidance and advice to clients on probate law matters, including estate planning, wills, and trusts. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A valid license to practice law in the state of California. A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law. Experience with probate law would be a plus. Proven courtroom experience (law and motion; does not need to be trial experience) Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
