occupation tax for attorneys. Firm pays for 15 hours of Continuing
Legal Education (CLE) per year. After 30 days with the firm, you
will be eligible to participate in our 401K retirement/investment
plan, with a 100% match for contributions up to 3% of salary and
50% match for contributions between 3-5%. Comprehensive group
health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield, including dental,

insurance policy at no cost to each employee. Job Details We are
seeking an experienced and motivated Lateral Construction Defect
Attorney to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity
for a skilled attorney with a focus on construction defect
litigation to further their career in a dynamic and supportive
environment. Job Responsibilities: Represent clients in
construction defect cases, managing all aspects of litigation from
inception to resolution. Advise clients on risk management and
provide strategic legal guidance throughout construction projects.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and
discovery requests. Handle complex legal research and analysis
related to construction defect claims. Collaborate with experts and
other professionals to build strong cases for trial or settlement.
Maintain regular client communication to ensure satisfaction and
manage expectations. Participate in depositions, court appearances,
and mediations. Mentor and assist junior attorneys with legal
research, case preparation, and trial strategy. Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active and
good standing bar membership in Texas. Preferably 5 years of
experience in construction defect litigation. Strong written and
verbal communication skills, with the ability to present legal
concepts clearly and effectively. Ability to work independently as
